I find this to be the more popular point of view of DM:""It's worse than a team of evangelists like seagulls waiting to take %70 of your salary. The praise and worship team even meets you at the door. They say they're the first to develop MULTI MATCH technology which is total BS. Let me think... can't you do that on Myspace and craigslist for free? Oh, but Direct Matches.com says you can advertise for free, but they pressure you to buy a membership and do training calls which is how everyone makes $. You even have a sponsor like AA. The more people you get to BUY a membership, the more money you make. It's not a multimatch website at all, just a bunch of greedy vultures wanting to get wealthy overnight. They are completely copying myspace and craigslist and just charging people for it. Why would I pay for that website when myspace and craigslist are free with millions of contacts with no strings attached? The business contacts on DIRECT MATCHES.COM aren't REAL contacts. There's DEFINITELY an agenda on there and it starts with the BIG M. If you're thinking about doing that site, you may want to rethink that one. The vibe is similar to a car dealership. """
Their main form of promoting is to reply to your ad saying that they would like more information (gettting you all excited that someone has responded). Then after you have sent them their requested information, they reply saying that they can help you promote your website within their group.
